Diego Bianchi compares Ukraine to the Resistance and the partisans. Vauro dismisses the Propaganda Live host's analysis and responds with a series of questions. "Hi Diego Bianchi, hi Zoro. Here comes a pro-Putin, a peace activist. Someone paid by the Kremlin and I don't know who else. I saw your response to Virginia Libero," the leader of the Democratic Party's youth movement, "who sparked an uproar by saying something banal: peace isn't built with weapons.
"She said that boys, young people, go to war. And they die. She said it would be better to organize desertion and not enlistment. You responded by saying that the Ukrainians are like our partisans. So, I wanted to ask you two or three questions...", says Vauro in a video posted on social media.
"Do you know if our partisans received billions in financial aid and weapons? I don't...
"Do you know if these billions received by our partisans were stolen by the leaders? Or invested in villas abroad, offshore funds, or golden toilet bowls? Not me...", adds the cartoonist.
"Do you know of our partisans, who chose to go into the mountains to fight in the resistance, being punched and kicked, torn from their wives and children by other militiamen to end up at the front? Ukraine trades meat for money; I'm not aware of "partisans" being rounded up like dogs in the street.
I'm not aware of our partisans fighting alongside battalions bearing the names of Nazi heroes. Perhaps you do... These are little questions I ask myself, and you won't answer them. The important thing is to always be enrolled..."
