(Adnkronos) – “We see culture as a lever to achieve what we believe to be truly important: integrating with the communities in which and with which we work. This isn't just a space, but a true cultural infrastructure that is being restored for the community to enjoy.” This was stated by Fabio Cerchiai, president of Bper, at the presentation of the temporary exhibition “VANITAS.
Flowers and Symbols, from Hayez to Casorati,” held at Palazzo Barbantini-Koch in Ferrara. The initiative is part of the “BPER Cultural Centers. A System of Diffused Heritage” project, which connects the Group's historic offices in Modena, Ferrara, and L'Aquila, transforming them into spaces dedicated to the conservation, study, and public restitution of the artistic and architectural heritage of the bank's corporate collection.
“For us this is very important because it is part of an objective of our industrial plan,” Cerchiai continues.
I said 'in which and with which' because I am deeply convinced, and we at Bper are deeply convinced, of the importance of a small but very significant word: together. Together means that only if we can make a positive contribution to the development, not only economic, but also social and cultural, of the communities in which and with which we operate, can we achieve the primary objective of the business plan of a bank like Bper, which also aims to be a local bank: creating value.
Creating value is much more than maximizing or optimizing operating income. It means achieving a result that lasts over time and is in the best interests of all stakeholders,” concludes Cerchiai.
