A 24-year-old man of Roma origin was found dead in Ciampino (Rome) inside an industrial warehouse of a company producing illuminated signs, at 11:30 pm on Thursday 22 October 2026. The Carabinieri of the Ciampino station intervened on the scene, in Via Luigi Bandini, following a report received by the Nue 112, together with the 118 personnel.
According to initial investigations conducted by the Carabinieri, the 24-year-old allegedly entered the building to commit a burglary and fell from the roof. He was found wearing gloves and with his face covered by a balaclava.

As witnessed yesterday in Ciampino, a 24-year-old man of Roma origin was found dead on Via Luigi Bandini. The man was wearing gloves and his face was covered by a balaclava, leading to speculation that he was planning to commit a robbery. According to initial reports, the 24-year-old appears to have fallen to the ground from a height of approximately 10 meters while walking on the roof of the building due to the sudden collapse of a portion of the Plexiglas skylight he was walking on. The Carabinieri are currently investigating, both to determine exactly what happened and to determine whether there were other people with him who were planning to commit the alleged robbery, accomplices who, if so, may have fled after the 24-year-old fell.
