Gorizia, October 16 (askanews) – From October 13 to 18, Gorizia will host the second edition of "Verde Capitale," the event promoted by the Municipality as part of the GO! 2025 legacy. The program features over thirty events, including walks, conferences, exhibitions, and guided tours dedicated to enhancing the natural heritage and raising environmental awareness. This year's program, titled "City of Parks and Bees.

From biodiversity to a changing climate. Gorizia enters the future,” presents strategies to combat climate change and make the city increasingly green, sustainable, and resilient. For the occasion, the Municipality has networked with numerous local organizations, involving the Universities of Udine and Trieste, the Carigo Foundation with the Viatori Garden, the Coronini Cronberg Foundation, the Gect GO, the Comel Museum, cultural associations such as Mitteldream ArteGorizia and Prologo Art, along with experts and enthusiasts. Among the most anticipated events are a treasure hunt for heat-resistant plants, guided tours of city parks, and the presentation of the guidelines for the new Green Plan, which will define the future development of the city's squares, avenues, and green spaces.
