Adnkronos (Adnkronos) – The man, arrested by the Carabinieri for stabbing a woman this morning, Sunday, September 20, in the Cipro area of Rome, while he was at the offices of the Mobile Radio Unit, suddenly felt seriously ill. Emergency responders stabilized him and transported him to the Tor Vergata Polyclinic in critical condition.
According to initial reconstructions, the man apparently ingested some liquid substances before the arrival of the Carabinieri, in an attempt to take an extreme action.
The investigation is ongoing, but according to what has emerged so far, the attack was triggered by an argument between the man and two women, all roommates. The fifty-three-year-old allegedly attacked both women, stabbing the forty-eight-year-old Russian woman with a knife. The woman was later rescued on the street by the Carabinieri.
