A worker died around 8 a.m. today at a construction site in Cagliari's Porto Canale while unloading pipes from a tractor-trailer. The circumstances of the accident are unclear. The worker was reportedly crushed. Carabinieri, firefighters, and emergency medical services were on the scene.
