new regulation
It provides a path divided into several stages in front of the Music Commission which will lead to the choice of six
artists: three from the Sanremo Giovani selections and three from the Area Sanremo competition.
Six artists will advance to the final of the 'Sarà Sanremo' contest, scheduled for prime time on Rai 1 on Friday, December 11th, the final stage of the selection process. At the end of the evening, a single winner will be announced, who will earn a spot among the Big Artists at the Sanremo Festival, as per the rules.
After the auditions for artists from the Rai contest, the process will continue from mid-November with the selection of Area Sanremo candidates, leading the Music Commission to identify the six finalists destined to compete for the only available spot at the Festival.
The commission is chaired by Stefano De Martino, artistic director of Sanremo Giovani, supported by Noemi, Fabio Volo, Carlo Pastore, maestro Pino Perris, Ema Stokholma and Claudio Fasulo, deputy director of Rai Prime Time Entertainment.
“An extraordinary debut for the first live auditions: a burst of talent and energy that demonstrates how much the new musical generation needs spaces and opportunities like Sanremo Giovani,” underlined Stefano De Martino.
