(Adnkronos) –
Angelo Binaghi is rooting for Darren Cahill. The FITP president has weighed in on the future of Jannik Sinner's coaching staff. According to rumors from England, Sinner seems intent on selecting Magnus Norman, Stan Wawrinka's former coach, who recently retired from the ATP Basel tournament, to replace the Australian as supercoach alongside Simone Vagnozzi.
“He's not a superman like Djokovic or a player with incredible strength like Nadal, he's someone who needs to continue building his physique,” Binaghi explained, speaking of Sinner's knee problem, which has kept him out of action since the Wimbledon final victory over Zverev. The Italian is expected to return at the end of December for the Six Kings Slam, a packed exhibition tournament taking place in Riyadh.
