(Adnkronos) – The Giro d'Italia returns tomorrow, Friday, May 8, with the first stage of the Corsa Rosa. Television coverage of the event guarantees unprecedented global reach, bringing the race to the homes of millions of fans around the world. Thanks to a widespread network of international broadcasters, the event will be broadcast live and in full in numerous countries, both through traditional linear channels and digital OTT platforms.
Here's where to watch all the stages of the Giro d'Italia on TV and streaming.
In Italy, as usual, Rai will broadcast each day of the race to a national audience. The women's day of television coverage will begin with an hour of "Giro Mattina" on Rai Sport HD, which will include rider presentations and pre-race interviews. Following this, the same channel will broadcast "Prima Diretta," covering the stage start until 2:00 PM.
For the main part of the program, the Corsa Rosa schedule moves to Rai 2, with "Giro in Diretta" until 16:15 PM and "Giro all'Arrivo" immediately following, covering the climax of each stage up to the finish line. Immediately following, the traditional post-race analysis of "Processo alla Tappa" (The Stage Trial) begins, generally lasting 45 minutes, without the need to change channels.
Completing the technical and sporting coverage on Rai Sport HD are "TGiro," starting at 8:00 PM, with interviews, commentary, and commentary, and "Ri-Giro," at 12:00 AM, where die-hard fans will be guided through a moment-by-moment reconstruction of the stage's key moments. The race will also be broadcast live in its entirety on Eurosport and on the on-demand platforms Discovery+ and HBO Max.

In Bulgaria, the host country of the Grande Partenza, the Giro will be broadcast free-to-air on BNT with live coverage of the first three stages, confirming its focus on local audiences.
International broadcast also includes North and South America. In North America, live coverage is provided in Canada by FloSports, with digital distribution via the Flobikes channel, and in the United States by HBO Max and TruTV. In South America, it will be broadcast live on DirecTV and ESPN, as well as major local broadcasters in Colombia (Caracol and RCN) and Bolivia (Sport TV). In the Caribbean, TV coverage will be provided by CPSL. In Asia and Oceania, the race will be broadcast live in Japan by JSports, in China by Zhibo TV, in Southeast Asia by SPOTV, and in Australia by SBS.
