Adnkronos (Adnkronos) – Tonight, Friday, October 16, at 9:30 pm on Rai 1, Antonella Clerici hosts the second episode of 'The Voice Senior'. This year, the host will once again guide viewers through the discovery of new talents and their journeys, supported by a team of coaches introducing a major new feature.
Alongside Arisa, Clementino with Rocco Hunt and Nek, one of the most beloved voices in Italian music, Fiorella Mannoia, makes her entrance.
The formula that has made the show so successful has remained unchanged, starting with the gripping 'Blind Auditions', the traditional blind auditions during which the coaches, from behind, listen to the contestants without being able to see them.
It will only be their voice that will have to win them over and, if a coach decides to turn around, he can try to win the competitor for his team.
If multiple coaches turn around, the talent will choose which team to compete with. This edition, too, will feature two valuable tools during the "Blind" phase: the "Block" button, which prevents another coach from choosing a contestant, and the "Second Chance" button, which allows each coach to re-perform, in a subsequent episode, an artist who failed to convince anyone on the first try.
At the end of the fourth and final episode of 'Blind,' the four coaches will select the 24 contestants—six per team—who will advance to the 'Knock Out,' the semifinal in which the talents of each team will compete with a song assigned by their respective coaches.
Once again, it will be the latter who decides who will continue in the competition: only three contestants per team will reach the spectacular 'Final,' where the audience at home, through televoting, will decide the winner of the seventh season of 'The Voice Senior.'
The program will remain centered on the music, emotions, passions, and life journeys of the protagonists. The performances, which will span the great Italian and international repertoire, will alternate with the episodes' guest stars and the eagerly awaited duets between coaches and contestants.
