(Adnkronos) – "The future macro trends that will influence the entire economic system, and therefore the leasing sector as well, will be those related to artificial intelligence and human capital." This was stated by Paolo Guzzetti, president of Assilea, on the sidelines of Lease 2026, the Leasing Trade Show, which opens its ninth edition today in Milan.
The automotive sector remains the largest segment of the leasing market, with 62,1%, but, Guzzetti highlighted, "social housing and energy transition have emerged as key themes from the Lease 2026 debate."
The real estate sector, in fact, recorded growth of 21,9%, with significant peaks of 51,9% for hotels and recreational centers and 45% for office buildings.
"The initial data from 2026 confirm that leasing is a formidable development tool serving the country's economic system, as well as its social and productive systems," the president concluded.
