At Big Brother VIP , even a proposal intended to lighten the mood turns into a new source of conflict. Andreas Muller refuses to participate in a dance challenge with Megan Ria , explaining that he doesn't feel comfortable and doesn't want to do something against his will. His attitude provokes a reaction from Ilary Blasi, who tries to convince him to open up and take the moment more lightheartedly.
The confrontation then widens to include difficulties in the relationship with her roommate, to the point of also involving Cesara Buonamici and Selvaggia Lucarelli , who from the studio harshly comment on the contestant's position.
Big Brother VIP, Andreas Muller: The clash with Megan and his refusal of the dance challenge
Megan Ria immediately highlights the character differences that make living with Andreas complicated.
" Andreas's daily behavior is very different from mine, " she explains, emphasizing, however, that the distance between them shouldn't prevent them from getting to know each other better. The dancer wonders if her roommate isn't curious about her and recalls the desire to challenge herself that characterizes her in her twenties.
Andreas acknowledges that there are differences between them , but he doesn't necessarily consider them a problem. In explaining his relationship with dance, he also says he's had a complex relationship with it, filled with both satisfaction and difficulty: " I've had a love-hate relationship; it's been a job that's brought me joy and pain. Dance isn't in my blood ."
To ease the tension, Ilary Blasi suggests a dance battle , inviting the two contestants to have fun. Andreas, however, refuses: " I don't feel like it, I don't feel comfortable. I'd be doing something against my will ." The host then encourages him to be more open and forthcoming, reminding him that the initiative was intended solely to lighten the evening. He, however, stands firm: " I don't feel like forcing myself. I'm sorry ."
Criticisms by Cesara Buonamici and Selvaggia Lucarelli
Cesara Buonamici intervenes from the studio , inviting Andreas to also consider Megan's personal difficulties: " You don't have the exclusive right to suffer ." The contestant admits he finds it difficult to confide in the people in the house and describes his experience as up and down, between pleasant days and moments when he feels the need to isolate himself.
Even more harsh is the comment from Selvaggia Lucarelli , who criticizes the seriousness with which Andreas approaches situations and his apparent rejection of moments of levity. " You're a dancer and you don't want to dance, you don't want to play, so what are you doing there? " she observes, comparing him to a person annoyed by the energy and vivacity of others.
Once the connection to the studio ends, the argument between Andreas and Megan continues . He accuses his roommate of only wanting to watch what's convenient for her and describes in very strong words the feeling of being judged: "At the end of this game, you will have executed a man ." Megan tries to defuse the confrontation, replying: " Andreas, even less, come on ." The misunderstandings between the two thus remain at the center of tensions in the house.
