"Suspended"—what's happening to Bruno Vespa? The news on social media.

It's been a tough few days for Bruno Vespa, who found himself at the center of controversy after his televised confrontation with University Students Union representative Sabrina Brizzola.

The host of " Porta a Porta " was criticized, especially for the tone Vespa used towards Brizzola and for the phrase: "When you young people speak, please, do your research first." After the episode, several users also reported the suspension of Vespa's X profile . However, the two incidents appear to be unrelated.

Searching for Bruna Vespa's profile on X results in the message " Account suspended. We suspend accounts that violate X's rules ." The measures that can lead to account suspension may concern, among other aspects, user safety, privacy protection, account authenticity, the publication of prohibited content, or other violations of the platform's terms of use.

Bruno Vespa's profile on X suspended: the real reason

Was Bruno Vespa 's account X really suspended for violating the rules? As FanPage reports , it may actually have been hacked and transformed into an account with a name and image linked to a cryptocurrency project. The page traced under the new name USRO (@USROEroject) retains old posts, videos, a biography, and promotional content for his books, elements that therefore confirm its connection to Vespa's original profile. According to Paolo Dal Checco, a computer forensic expert consulted by Fanpage, the hackers may have transferred the original profile to a new username and simultaneously occupied the previous address, thus making it much more difficult for the legitimate owner to recover it. Vespa's Instagram profile, however, appears normal and active.
