Cavallera was among the three Italian companies awarded the Italian Welfare Excellence Award at the Global Welfare Summit 2026.
The recognition recognizes a model based on dialogue with employees and trade unions, capable of translating listening and participation into shared protections and solutions.

The welfare model developed by Autostrade per l'Italia includes interventions dedicated to parenting, personal and family care, organizational flexibility, training, and supplementary pension provision.
The measures include support for families, extended leave and permits for caregiving needs, tools for caregivers, and flexible working arrangements designed to foster a sustainable balance between professional responsibilities and personal life.
"Dialogue and listening to the various stakeholders are crucial in this process. Bringing together different perspectives, engaging with employees, trade unions, and engaging with institutions and local communities aren't just formal steps, but the method through which we can interpret changes, understand people's needs, and transform concrete experiences into more advanced protections and a shared heritage," he adds.
"It is from discussion, even between different points of view, that more solid solutions, truly shared objectives, and lasting results emerge.
