(Adnkronos) – The Italian League for the Fight Against Cancer (LILT) and the Idi Irccs – Istituto Dermopatico dell'Immacolata in Rome, managed by the Maria Monti Foundation, today signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at strengthening collaboration between the two organizations in the field of cancer prevention, with particular attention to dermatology.
The agreement, signed by LILT national president Professor Francesco Schittulli and IDI IRCCS general director Dr. Marcello Giannico, "envisages the development of joint training, communication, and scientific dissemination initiatives dedicated to the culture of cancer prevention.
The two institutions – as stated in the note – are also committed to promoting health education programs and healthy lifestyles, with specific attention to the diagnosis of skin cancer, and to organizing events aimed at schools, with the aim of raising awareness among students, teachers and families on prevention issues".
