(Adnkronos) – Turin Police Chief Massimo Gambino issued a verbal warning to the Bangladeshi man charged with sexual assault, accusing him of molesting a thirteen-year-old girl at a convenience store in late August, where the girl had gone to buy drinks for her brothers. Following the complaint, the judicial authorities issued a precautionary measure requiring him to report to the judicial police.

The Police Commissioner's order highlights the elements that denote the man's clear social dangerousness.

The events that led to the complaint, it should be noted, occurred within the business where the person subject to the measure worked. Furthermore, it should be noted that another incident of the same seriousness occurred on the same day, also within the business, to the detriment of a woman.

The Turin Police Chief therefore considered that the man's conduct "highlights a concrete propensity to commit harmful acts
of the integrity and sexual freedom of others, further undermining public safety and tranquility and creating disturbance and widespread social alarm”.

The oral warning formally reminds a person to behave in accordance with the law, informing the recipient that their actions are under observation and that continuing such behavior could lead to more serious consequences.
