An episode of "Bella Ma" filled with memories, music, and surprises, which yesterday hosted Iva Zanicchi. The "Aquila" from Ligonchio opened up to Pierluigi Diaco with her usual wit, retracing moments from her long career and also recalling her appearances at Sanremo.

And it was the Festival itself that provided the most curious moment of the interview.

Diaco showed Zanicchi's performance at Sanremo 2022, when the singer competed with "Voglio Amarti." It was also an opportunity to discuss her current relationship with the festival: "It was my last Sanremo, because I won't be competing again," Zanicchi emphasized. But Diaco immediately responded with a question that opened up a decidedly interesting scenario: "But what if De Martino calls you as guest of honor?"

Iva's response was immediate and, more importantly, revealed a little background information. The singer explained that she had already written to Stefano De Martino but had received no response: "Stefano, reply to me. You have to reply, because I sent you a message and you have to reply," Zanicchi said, bursting into laughter.

At that point, Diaco took the opportunity to joke about it and turned the revelation into a full-blown plea on air: "'So, news! Live on Rai2, Mrs. Zanicchi reveals she sent a message to the artistic director of Sanremo, De Martino, and he didn't respond. 'Hey, reply!'" the host said. Prompting Zanicchi to clarify: "Well, no, but I sent it to him last night." Diaco, with his usual irony, concluded: "So! Give him time." (by Alisa Toaff)
