Confcommercio, through the Cities project, supports the Urban Awards by addressing the same issues and situations faced by the various civic actors operating in our cities today, all of whom face common challenges for both citizens and decision-makers. The theme on which we focus our efforts is the revitalization and revitalization of streetscapes to address the crisis affecting various businesses, some of which are having great difficulty staying open.
We therefore believe that urban mobility, the ability to use public spaces and access historic centers and the most densely populated areas of the city, is a fundamental lever for revitalizing cities." These are the words of Paolo Testa, Head of the Urban Planning and Urban Regeneration Sector at Confcommercio, on the occasion of the tenth edition of the Urban Award, the prize dedicated to municipalities that improve mobility and the quality of urban life, presented at the ANCI headquarters on Via dei Prefetti in Rome.
The initiative is sponsored by ANCI itself, with the support of Intesa Sanpaolo as Main Partner and Confcommercio and Pin Bike as Silver Partners.
