(Adnkronos) – Eight years in prison. This is the sentence handed down, after a settlement agreement, for Luca Lucci, former leader of the Curva Sud ultras, who is on trial before the Milan Court of Appeal as part of the main investigation into the Curva Sud ultras. Lucci, represented by lawyer Jacopo Cappetta, was charged with criminal conspiracy and also with the attempted murder of the Curva Sud ultra Enzo Anghinelli in 2019.
He was acquitted of the latter charge. In the first instance, the popular leader, capable of rallying the ranks of the Rossoneri fans at San Siro, had been sentenced to ten years. Eight of the nine defendants also requested a plea bargain on appeal.
