The 63rd edition opens with 2.800 exhibiting brands, 1.000 buyers, 28 pavilions, and 140.000 square meters of exhibition space. The opening ceremony will be held tomorrow at 10.15 am in the Main Arena – South Hall.
The Opening Ceremony will be titled "The Year to Exist. Tourism in 2030: Spaces and Times to Design, Experience, and Protect," reflecting the theme of "Exist," the 2026 edition's central theme. Two hundred events, nine thematic arenas, and over 400 speakers will punctuate the TTG Travel Experience 2026 program, including institutional meetings, research previews, and discussions on the major changes currently underway in tourism. Among this year's new features is the new format of the TTG Star Award, dedicated to professionals who, within their companies, drive change through innovative ideas, products, and solutions. Twelve nominees are divided into the Transport, Hospitality, Destination, and Tour Operator categories, with the special recognition TTG Star Exist. The TTG Next Startup Area will host 40 startups in Hall C3, including emerging and growing companies, with pitches, talks, and meetings on artificial intelligence, automation, data, smart destinations, and new business models.
The program already looks to 2027 with the five consumer trends from Travel & Hospitality Vision +27 by TTG, the first research on the Zero Click Economy, studies by the Polytechnic University of Milan, Confturismo-SWG, ISNART, and Nexi, and the new "Report on Italian Tourism." There will also be space for new travel geographies, with the Mediterranean, geopolitics, climate, and traveler safety among the most discussed topics. Among the institutional events, the Way of St. John Paul II, a joint project between Italy and Poland, will be presented on Thursday, October 15th, with the participation of Minister of Tourism Gianmarco Mazzi and Polish Secretary of State Ireneusz Raś.
The 2026 edition of InOut | The Hospitality Community expands the hospitality narrative with new initiatives dedicated to non-hotel accommodation, open-air spaces, and design.
