"Do you know why Meloni can cry?", a sketch by Luca and Paolo

Meloni, Tajani, and Donzelli are in Luca and Paolo's sights: the joke about Youssef Siher's release from prison sparks irony on DiMartedì.

The Youssef Siher case has also made its way onto television and has become the target of satire by Luca and Paolo . On the cover of DiMartedì, the two comedians recounted the story of the activist released from prison after his arrest for the events in Milan on October 17th and 18th, poking fun at the reactions of politicians. Giorgia Meloni , Antonio Tajani, and Giovanni Donzelli have been targeted , but there's also a dig at the center-left and Mimmo Lucano.

Luca and Paolo joke about the Youssef Siher case on DiMartedì: a satire on Meloni, Tajani, and Donzelli.

The two comedians used irony to address the controversy that arose after investigating judge Tiziana Landoni's decision not to uphold the arrest and order the activist's release, targeting in particular the government's reactions and statements by some members of the ruling coalition.

The speech opens with a joke that anticipates the tone of their performance: " We'll tell you a joke: there's a Moroccan, an Italian, and two judges... "

The first part of the parody focuses on the political consequences of his release. " As soon as he's arrested, a lot of rumors start circulating about him... he's a terrorist, he's a spy...

He's a Juventus fan! ' the two joke, retracing the days following the arrest. Then comes the dig at Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, who had called the Milanese magistrate's decision " shameful ." " Four days after the arrest, the first judge, the one in charge of the preliminary investigation, who immediately made headlines, comes into play, and Youssef is released, because there is no reason to keep him in jail ."

Hence the attack: " The Prime Minister, defying all logic, is doing what she does best: whining ." A jab at Bignami and Delmastro is also included, with a quip about the political climate within the majority. Antonio Tajani then comes under fire for his statements on the case and his reference to the alleged crime being committed in flagrante delicto. " Remember, Tajani has a law degree... is that the end of the joke? " Luca and Paolo quip. The satire then shifts to Giovanni Donzelli, who had contested the investigating judge's decision, citing his support for a public appeal for Gaza. The comedians, however, point out one detail: prosecutor Francesca Crupi, who had requested Siher's pre-trial detention, had also signed the same document. Hence the provocation: " But aren't we the most beautiful country in the world? "

Luca and Paolo's final dig at the left and Mimmo Lucano

In the final section of the cover, Luca and Paolo broaden their focus to the opposition, reserving a joke for Mimmo Lucano . The MEP, who had publicly come out in defense of Siher, had expressed his appreciation for him, describing him as a good guy and a political scientist , even going so far as to suggest he might run for the Alliance of the Greens and the Left (AVS). This stance becomes the occasion for a final comic jab at the center-left: " The first one to step forward was Mimmo Lucano, who was thinking of ways to make the center-left lose more votes ," the two comment. And they add, referring to the proposed candidacy: " One of those statements that alone makes Forza Nuova take flight ." A cover that, through jokes and provocations, highlights the contradictions of the political conflict that followed the legal case.
