(Adnkronos) – Twenty-five years of supporting businesses, accompanying the technological evolution of machinery and production processes. This year marks a significant milestone for Brescia-based Electro IB, founded in 2001 and specializing in the distribution of industrial automation components. A key player in the Brescia area and neighboring provinces, including Bergamo, Cremona, Mantua, Verona, and Piacenza, Electro IB operates with a team of 15 specialists.

In 2025, it recorded a turnover of approximately €7,7 million and can count on 1000 customers served annually, as well as consolidated partnerships with leading brands in the industry sector. Acquired in 2025 by Sacchi, a company of the Sonepar Group, Electro IB continues to offer its highly specialized services, benefiting from the support of a structured ecosystem with a unique assortment on the market and excellent logistics.

An ecosystem that brings value to customers, offering increasingly innovative, advanced, and integrated solutions and services.

“This anniversary is first and foremost a thank you to the people who built Electro IB and to the customers and partners who have placed their trust in us,” says Paolo Bonomini, General Manager of Electro IB. “Our identity is based on technical expertise and the ability to listen to companies, to propose solutions and not just products.

Joining Sacchi and the Sonepar Group has opened up new opportunities for us to develop and engage with a broader network. Our way of working remains central, based on customer proximity, application consulting, and pre- and post-sales support. This is the approach we intend to take in the coming years.” Electro IB's 25th anniversary celebrations took place over the weekend in the evocative setting of the Rocca di Lonato del Garda. The event was attended by 150 guests, including employees, Sacchi representatives, partners, and customers, who shared an evening of conviviality and entertainment, complemented by the comedy of Cristiano Militello.

The company offers sensors, vision systems, safety devices, positioning and industrial cabling solutions, as well as collaborative robots. Along with product supply, it also offers pre- and post-sales technical support, feasibility studies, and consulting for customized applications. Its offerings address various manufacturing sectors, including metalworking, die-casting, assembly, packaging, the food industry, and machine tools. Sacchi Elettroforniture (Sacchi Giuseppe SpA), founded in 1957 in Barzanò (LC), is Northern Italy's largest distributor of electrical materials, industrial automation, and energy transition solutions. It has 84 stores, a turnover of approximately €1 billion, 50.000 customers, and 1.400 employees. It operates through three business areas—Building Electrical Solutions, Industry Automation Solutions, and Energy Efficiency Solutions—supported by one of Italy's most automated logistics hubs and an ecosystem of digital services. Since 2017, it has been part of the Sonepar Group, a global leader in the B2B distribution of electrical materials. Sonepar is an independent, family-owned company and a global leader in the B2B distribution of products, solutions, and services for the electrical market. In 2025, it achieved revenues of €33,6 billion. Present in 40 countries with a widespread network of brands, the Group is pursuing an ambitious transformation to simplify its customers' lives by offering them an omnichannel experience and sustainable solutions in the construction, industry, and energy sectors.
