As reported by Il Giorno , moments of fear occurred on the evening of Thursday, November 5th in Senna Comasco, where an ASF articulated bus was involved in a serious road accident . The incident occurred around 7:45 PM on Via per Trecallo: for reasons still unclear, the vehicle lost its trajectory and ended up off the road , crashing into the fence of a business.
The bus stopped before it could fall over the concrete retaining wall, dropping approximately two meters. The vehicle remained in a particularly dangerous position, suspended precariously over the edge of the road.
Two injured people were taken to hospital: the operation to recover the bus was complex.
As reported by Como Zero , there were only two people on board the bus : the driver and a passenger , both of whom were injured and treated by paramedics. Emergency services, including a medical car and ambulances, intervened to provide assistance and took the two men to the hospital. Their conditions were described as serious.
Three firefighter teams from the Como fire department also arrived at the scene of the accident, engaged in operations to secure the vehicle. Given the unstable position and the considerable size of the articulated bus, a crane from the Varese fire department was also requested to hook the vehicle and bring it back onto the roadway without causing it to fall. Carabinieri and local police were also present, working to carry out surveys and reconstruct the accident. Rescue operations continued in the immediate aftermath of the accident.
