As reported by Treviso Today , there were moments of tension on the afternoon of Friday 11 September in Treviso, where a 23-year-old of Tunisian origins , already known to the police, was arrested at the end of a chase with the Local Police.
It all started around 4:30 PM on Terraglio , when a motorcycle patrol noticed the young man riding an electric scooter in the wrong direction, without a helmet and with no license plate or insurance . When the officers stopped, the boy allegedly accelerated and fled, reaching speeds of over 25 kilometers per hour.
During the chase, he entered the pedestrian railway underpass on Via Dandolo despite the presence of several people. Nearing a curve, he lost control of the vehicle and fell , hitting a woman who was walking. The pedestrian suffered a graze and a bruise, but no serious injuries were reported.

After the impact , the 23-year-old left his scooter in the underpass and continued to flee on foot . According to Treviso Today , officers managed to catch up with him shortly thereafter, but the young man allegedly resisted, resulting in a scuffle before being finally arrested and taken to the Local Police headquarters on Via Castello d'Amore for investigation.
The arrest was validated late on the morning of Saturday, September 12, and the judge ordered him to sign in . According to local police, the 23-year-old will be charged with resisting a public official, failing to comply with an order to leave the scene, and fleeing a stop sign . In addition to these charges, he faces administrative sanctions for using a non-compliant scooter, without a license plate or insurance, without a helmet, and at a speed deemed dangerous.
