(Adnkronos) - Lando Norris snatched the historic first pole position at the Madrid Ring with a blistering time of 1:31.824, and will therefore start ahead of everyone else in tomorrow's Spanish Grand Prix, Sunday, September 13th, in Madrid. The reigning world champion, in his McLaren, leads the championship leader...

Lando Norris takes historic first
pole position
at the Madring with a superb time of 1:31.824 and will therefore start ahead of everyone else in the Spanish Grand Prix tomorrow, Sunday, September 13, in Madrid. The reigning world champion, in his McLaren, leads the Drivers' Championship leader Kimi Antonelli, beating him by just 11 thousandths of a second to set the fastest qualifying lap.

Behind them was Max Verstappen, followed by the Ferraris of Lewis Hamilton (leading until a few seconds from the end) and Charles Leclerc. George Russell finished sixth ahead of Oscar Piastri.
