Elon Musk vs. Volodymyr Zelensky, the clash extends to Starlink, the role of the United States, and the energy war between Ukraine and Russia. "And so the carnage continues... It's time for Zelensky to go," the SpaceX owner wrote on X, attacking the Ukrainian president after accusations of satellite communications slowdowns.

Meanwhile, in an interview with the Financial Times, Zelensky announced that Kiev will resume attacks on Russian oil refineries, after a three-day pause requested by the United States.

Elon Musk's direct message on X immediately reignited the conflict with the Ukrainian president. "And so the massacre continues... It's time for Zelensky to go," the entrepreneur wrote, intervening after the Kiev leader denounced the consequences of satellite communications restrictions.

“If the attacks continue and Starlink doesn’t work, it is inevitable that people will die,” the Ukrainian president said.

Kiev reported delays and limitations that have hindered some drone missions. According to media reports, the difficulties have primarily affected terminals used for operations requiring reliable, even high-speed connections. The restrictions have impacted the activities of some units, including those engaged in medium- and long-range drone missions.

In these operations, continuity of connection can be crucial to maintaining control of the aircraft and completing the missions.

Responding to Zelensky's accusations, Musk denied direct responsibility, distinguishing between the commercial Starlink service and the military Starshield system. "Any speed or usage limits are decided by the US military and, ultimately, the president of the United States," the entrepreneur said, referring to Starshield, the system intended for government and military use.

Meanwhile, in an interview with the Financial Times, Zelensky declared that Kiev will resume attacks on Russian oil refineries, ending a three-day pause requested by the United States. "The pause is over. We're done," is the statement attributed to the Ukrainian leader by the British newspaper.

The temporary suspension of strikes had been agreed upon as part of diplomatic initiatives related to the security of energy infrastructure. According to Zelensky's reconstruction, however, the truce did not produce the desired results: Russia continued to target Ukrainian energy infrastructure, making it more difficult to maintain the halt to attacks on Russian oil facilities.

And just today, a massive Ukrainian drone attack caused a fire at an oil refinery in the Ryazan region. Regional Governor Pavel Malkov reported this on the Max channel. "Our region has been subjected to a massive drone attack. A fire has broken out at an oil refinery," he wrote.

According to the governor, a warehouse and several vehicles located on the premises of another company were also damaged. According to initial reports, no one was injured, and the damage is being assessed. "Emergency services are working on site. I thank the air defense teams, firefighters, and everyone who defended the Ryazan region," Malkov said.
