Adnkronos (Adnkronos) – "I'm having to take a break due to a health issue." Noodles, the Offspring's guitarist, has been forced to temporarily leave the band. 63-year-old Kevin John Wasserman announced the hiatus in a statement posted on the group's social media profiles. "It is with deep sadness that I must announce that I must step away from live performances for a while to address a sudden and rather serious health issue," the artist wrote.
The rest of the band is behind me, giving me tremendous support, and will continue to rock while I'm gone. I hope to be back on stage soon. Until then, I'll miss you all with all my heart. Thank you for keeping me in your thoughts. I truly appreciate it.
A concert is scheduled for October 24th in Los Angeles. The band is expected in Las Vegas on November 6th and in Mexico City on November 21st.
