(Adnkronos) – Webuild reaffirms its commitment to engaging with clients and institutions, with the goal of providing the country with strategic projects currently under construction. The company, according to a statement from Wbuild, clarifies that the reduction in activity on some construction sites is not due to claimed extra costs: for these, there are procedures established by law and contract, which Webuild complies with.
This is due to the fact that work already completed remains to be defined and paid for, some of which is a variation and some of which is the subject of contractual invoices that have expired. This is a contractual issue and does not concern the company's financial stability. Webuild reiterates its concern for workers and businesses in the supply chain and its hope for a swift resolution. The Trevi offer, it should be noted, is a separate industrial investment that does not affect this issue.
