The woman was initially treated for her injuries, but later felt unwell once she returned home. She was rushed to Erol Olçok Hospital in Hitit, where doctors diagnosed internal bleeding, local media and The Sun reported. The Sun also said the accident caused her liver to rupture, as confirmed by initial autopsy results.
The 28-year-old's boyfriend, in a panic, begged doctors to save her as her condition worsened, even contacting professionals he knew personally. But nothing could be done. As allegations of workplace safety deficiencies and inadequate medical examinations surfaced, and investigations were underway into both workplace compliance and the subsequent medical intervention procedures, the owner of the facility where Yeter worked was arrested.
