BTP Valore Insieme, the Ministry of Economy and Finance revises rates upwards

BTP Valore and BTP Valore together, the Ministry of Economy and Finance is forced to review the rates of the proposal for Italian citizens who wish to invest their money in savings.

The State and in particular the Ministry of Economy and Finance have been promoting for some time through television and other media tools the BTP Valore and the new BTP Valore Insieme thanks to which small savers can invest their money in a fund that guarantees different profit margins and are in any case a way to make the investment profitable.

BTP Valore and BTP Valore Insieme, a boom in purchases by citizens

Since the markets opened at the beginning of the week, BTP Valore and BTP Valore Insieme government bonds have seen a significant increase in purchases by citizens . In numerical terms, this represents €12,071 billion for the BTP Valore and €4,511 billion for the new BTP Valore Insieme.

The total therefore exceeded €16.5 billion, significantly more than the sixth and seventh issues, which took place this summer. The reason is very simple: although the new BTP Valore Insieme is attractive and advantageous for some investors, if the capital remains stable, the classic BTP Valore pays coupons more quickly , precisely every quarter.

BTP Valore and BTP Valore Insieme, the Ministry of Economy and Finance has raised rates

Precisely because of this boom in purchases by small savers, the Ministry of Economy and Finance was forced to increase the interest rates on the two government bonds.

For the BTP Valore, the final rates are set at 3,75% for the first and second years, 4,20% for the third and fourth, and 4,75% for the fifth year.

The situation is different, as reported by Ansa , for the taxation of BTP Valore Insieme , given that in this case the maturity of the bond, valid for 5 years, is taken into account. Rates have been raised compared to last week and now see the total stand at 22,70 divided by 5 years , compared to the initial 22,50 on October 16th.
