(Adnkronos) – "I take responsibility for everything I said. They made the wrong person because I'm not afraid. I've been in and out of jail eight times. To stop me, they'll have to shoot me. If they think they're right, why did they want to censor me?" Fabrizio Corona said this at the end of the hearing before Judge Stefania Novelli of the Milan Civil Court.
The lawsuit was filed by the Mediaset group, Marina and Pier Silvio Berlusconi, Maria De Filippi, Silvia Toffanin, Gerry Scotti, Ilary Blasi, and Samira Lui over the January 26 episode of 'Falsissimo' in which Corona allegedly smeared television personalities, causing reputational and financial damage estimated at a total of €160 million.
During the technical hearing, the parties submitted their request for the admission of evidence, a matter on which the judge reserved her decision: she can decide whether and what evidence to admit or decide otherwise.
