Matteo Salvini attacks after the protests and riots at yesterday's demonstrations. "Following the shameful scenes of urban warfare in recent days, this week we will again present to Parliament, after too many delays caused by others in the past, the League's proposal to introduce a financial guarantee for the organizers of high-risk demonstrations to cover any damages.

"Protesting is a right, but destruction is not. "Whoever destroys, pays," said Matteo Salvini, leader of the League and deputy prime minister, "let's see if anyone will say no again."

Salvini, in particular, lashed out at Milan's mayoral candidate Lorenzo Pacini, currently a councilor for Municipio 1, who sided with the protesters beaten with truncheons by the police, expressing solidarity with those who had been "beaten."

The video, reposted and criticized on Instagram by Palazzo Marino candidate Silvia Sardone, features several comments, including one from Salvini: "With these delusional words, this councilor demonstrates that he is a danger, to himself and to others. Solidarity with the police officers injured by criminals while doing their job," the minister commented.
