The Bill Decree is one of the most important aspects of the government's new budget, as it addresses one of the most tangible issues for Italian citizens. Indeed, everyone is dealing with the constant increases in gas and electricity costs due to the wars that have led to increases in energy costs.
Bills Decree: Arera's Role in the Council of Ministers' Delay
The State Accounting Office had already announced last week that there were no funding issues for the implementation of the new billing decree, but for it to be implemented, full agreement among the main parties is required.
In particular, a prominent role is entrusted to Arera which will therefore have to carry out certain tasks to make the decree included in the budget plan devised by the Meloni government effective.
The doubts that emerged last October 28 have given way to practical work to smooth out these problems , thus ensuring maximum operability in a very short time frame.
The new date set by the Council of Ministers will be next November 9th.
The government's decision was therefore to halt the implementation of the Decree , listening to the doubts arising from the State Accounting Office, despite the fact that it contains "urgent measures" to reduce the cost of gas and energy for Italian citizens.
The text of the "Bolls Decree ," as reported by Ansa , was presented to the Council of Ministers by the Minister of the Environment and Energy Security, Gilberto Pichetto Fratin . It has been deemed definitive and will be put to a vote by Council members on November 9th.
Internal changes have also been made at Consob , with the appointment of Giulio Centemero , MP and League group leader on the Finance Committee of the Chamber of Deputies, confirmed. He was appointed by a resolution of the Council of Ministers itself.
Furthermore, a significant addition to the National Anti-Corruption Authority's staff has been announced: a new president has been appointed . He is Trifone Altieri , known as Nuccio, a member of the Northern League parliament and former head of Salvini's party's defense department. He succeeds Giuseppe Busia.
