This was stated by the MEP and head of the Brothers of Italy delegation in an interview in Brussels, on the sidelines of the European Parliament's Agriculture Committee, regarding the debate on the conditions for implementing EU support for the CAP 2028-34.
He added: “We want a simplified, unbureaucratic CAP that gives farmers the opportunity to be farmers without burdening them with further constraints and without the ideological environmentalism that has too often negatively impacted our agricultural businesses’ ability to compete.”
