iPhone Duo Design and Features
iPhone Duo is designed to deliver a seamless experience whether you fold it or open it. It uses magnetic closures to keep the screen closed and a precision mechanism with over 100 components to ensure a seamless fold. The internal display is a Super Retina XDR , offering 50 percent more screen real estate than iPhone 18 Pro Max and 80 percent more screen real estate than iPhone 18.
One of the most innovative features is the ability to use two apps side by side, making the most of the extra space. Additionally, iPhone Duo supports Apple Pencil compatibility , allowing users to handwrite directly on the screen. The device features Touch ID integrated into the side button, with the ability to register multiple fingerprints.
Battery and performance
To ensure adequate battery life, the iPhone Duo uses two high-density batteries that work as a single unit. Apple claims the device can deliver up to 31 hours of video playback. Additionally, just five minutes of charging provides about five hours of video playback, thanks to built-in fast-charging technology.
The new model is equipped with the A20 Pro chip that promises improved performance and dedicated AI capabilities . The 6-core CPU, with two new Super Cores, is up to 20% faster than previous models, while the 7-core GPU offers a performance boost of up to 40%.

In addition to iPhone Duo, Apple also introduced the new iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max with significant improvements in camera performance and battery life. The new models are available in matching colors and offer a revised deep black silver finish.
Among other new features, the new Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4 introduce advanced features like Audio Intelligence and Live Rewind . Apple also introduced AirPods 5 with a new multi-port acoustic architecture and a 50 percent improvement in Active Noise Cancellation.
Pre-orders for the iPhone Duo will open on October 16 , with availability expected on October 23. The base model with 256GB of storage will be priced at $2369.
