It was very hard work, very sweaty, because we made it under the sun of the Anzio beach in 40-degree heat. But apparently, the result is there to see.” So said Romeo Pizzol, director of the short film “Un lavoretto pulito,” winner of the third edition of the “I mille volti dell'acqua” contest, promoted by Acea in collaboration with the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, on the sidelines of the awards ceremony at the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome, during the Rome Film Fest.
The short film, dedicated to the theme of water purification, was selected from over 90 submissions, including from abroad. "I thank the crew and cast. In the end, even the most complicated things can be solved with child's play," Pizzol added. Regarding the origins of the project, the director explained: "The idea came from my own experience, because I have a degree in environmental chemistry and during my university internships I visited water purification plants.
When I saw that there was the possibility of telling them, I decided to take up this challenge and try to describe what I had studied."
