(Adnkronos) – Princess Kate Middleton returned to the Royal Marsden cancer hospital in London, where she was treated for cancer, for a surprise visit to the hospitalized patients and to thank the staff for the care they provided. British media reported that Kate met with senior officials at the Royal Marsden and praised the "incredible" cancer care she received.
The Princess of Wales, who announced in January 2025 that she was in remission, also sat down to talk with some patients.
As 'The Independent' reports, Kate described her father, who has a brain tumor, as an “inspiration”.
The visit came after Kate completed the Three Peaks Challenge in 24 hours in June, raising funds for a new specialist holistic wellbeing and recovery centre at the Royal Marsden in central London.
The fundraiser, the princess told hospital staff, was “my little way” of thanking them for the “incredible” care she had received.
